twentytwenty was the first piece Joey started working on. During the year 2020, he felt isolated and alone with his thoughts, especially when he had COVID-19. So while he had time, he used art to convey his feelings and emotions which eventually turned into what you see now. It depicts a human in their bedroom lying next to their bed with an illness (the red dots) as they squirm around trying to deal with it. The contrast between the black and white background and the colored human sets the focus on the illness while showing the emptiness of the room surrounding them.
